  • Odyssey House and Pathway Trust are launching New Zealand's first women only residential alcohol and other drug treatment service. The service is aimed at women involved in the criminal justice system.

    This exciting new pilot requires a Team Leader, who is committed to establishing a service that meets the needs of our clients, stakeholders and community.

    With a professional health qualification and experience in AOD and/or mental health, you will:
    • Lead a pilot residential programme for women, supporting its successful implementation, development, and evaluation, in line with its key objectives and measures.
    • Develop and provide a comprehensive, high quality service for residents and their family / whanau who are experiencing difficulties with alcohol and drugs.
    • Deliver a service that honours the Te Tiriti O Waitangi.
    • Develop and foster a passionate team that work alongside the residents honouring the therapeutic community philosophy 'community as method'
    Applicants must have excellent organisational skills and be able to engage and communicate effectively with both our clients and stakeholders.

    The service is rurally located, 20 mins drive south of Christchurch, and is not accessible by public transport.
