    Christchurch Central Service is a central hub for all Alcohol and Drug Services in Christchurch. This city centre service provides a collaboration of clinical service providers and a venue for community groups.

    Acting as a single point of entry for all alcohol and drug referrals in the Canterbury region, our clinicians screen and assess people, and provide support to concerned others.

    We are looking for a hard-working, experienced clinician to join our friendly team.

    As the Clinical Co-ordinator, you will be:
    • Allocating activities to the team of clinicians and measuring the team's success and output
    • The Go-To person for the clinicians to raise complex issues with
    • Inducting and providing one on one support to clinicians
    • Telephone and face to face screening and risk assessments for clients
    • Liaising within the sector to ensure the team is providing accurate information and providing excellent service for our client group.
    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the hub within the wider AOD Sector.

    The hours of the service are 8.30-5pm, with some flexibility required.

    The preferred applicant will hold a Health Professional Qualification and have clinical experience in AOD and / or mental health work, and an ability to lead and problem solve.

    Christchurch Central Services is managed by Odyssey House Christchurch, in collaboration with key partners within the AOD sector.
