  • Based at 34 Shortland Street, Auckland Central, Barfoot & Thompson Support Centre is seeking a full-time Auction Scribe & Administrator to join our team.

    In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the company's Auction Department, with particular emphasis on preparation and facilitation of in-house auction sessions.

    Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
    • Creating orders of sale and auction presentations
    • Scribing at in-house auctions
    • Working closely alongside the Auction Administration Manager
    • Supporting the auctioneers
    Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in an administration role, great people skills, a positive approach to their work and the ability to cope with pressure and remain calm and professional throughout the day.

    Other key skills and attributes include:
    • High level of accuracy when working with figures
    • Proficiency in Google applications
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to use initiative and work proactively
    • Thorough with excellent attention to detail
    • Exceptional time management
    • Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach to tasks
    • A background in Real Estate Sales or Administration is desirable but not essential
