    Our Stainless department has a vacancy for an enthusiastic, motivated and skilled Fitter/Welder who has a passion for their work. We also have vacancies in our other departments working with carbon steel

    The successful applicant will:
    • Be Trade qualified
    • Have a minimum 3 years experience in light and heavy stainless steel fabrication
    • Pass an ASME IX weld test in 6G position
    • Be able to read and understand mechanical drawings
    • Be competent in use of workshop equipment
    • Have a strong health and safety focus
    • Hold a current NZ drivers licence minimum of class 1
    Duties will include:
    • Pipe Fitting and welding to ASME IX standards (TIG & MIG)
    • Fabrication and welding of certified vessels
    • Site installation of mechanical equipment and pipework
    • Operation of workshop equipment including guillotine and press brake
    • General fitting and machining
