  • Sealegs International Limited is the world's leading manufacturer of amphibious boats, proudly designed and made in New Zealand. We're looking for a reliable, articulate and enthusiastic person to join our warehouse operations team to help us keep building & delivering our unique amphibious marine craft.

    We have more sales on backorder than ever before and working diligently to reduce our lead times. This makes for a fast paced and goal orientated environment. Our growing order book brings new challenges however the quality of all Sealegs product remains an essential focus. Therefore, we're looking for an experienced individual who takes genuine pride in their work with a strong attention to detail. Whilst specific skills are important so is attitude and this role would suit a motivated, focused, hardworking team player looking to further their career in purchasing, warehouse operations and logistics.

    You'll be working with other Purchasing extraordinaries working with our supply chain as well as sharing various operational tasks and responsibilities.

    These include:
    • Purchasing across supplier accounts within different purchasing streams
    • Working with Multi-Level Bill of Materials (BOMs)
    • Working with warehouse systems, bin/stock codes, stock receipting, purchase orders and creditors' invoices reconciliations
    • Warehouse inventory management and stocktaking
    • Ensuring parts are available and picked according to production schedules
    • Managing parts deliveries and pickups
    Skills & Competencies we're looking for:
    • Minimum 5 years' experience in Purchasing & Warehouse Operations
    • Proven capability in working with, creating & maintaining BOMs
    • Tertiary level qualification in Supply Chain management, or similar relevant qualification (preferred)
    • Strong communication skills are essential both internally and externally with Suppliers
    • Able to operate strategically with decisiveness & analytical ability
    • Excellent commercial acumen & contract management
    • Previous experience in the Marine Industry (preferred)
