Vernon Carriers and Logistics have been operating for over 35 years. We offer a comprehensive range of services to clients via our haulage and distribution network, and have a commercial warehousing facility with over 6000 pallet capacity.
We are currently looking for an experienced Storeman to join our team based in Avondale.
You'll be responsible for a range of warehouse duties including:
Receiving, picking and locating stock to racks across our warehouse
Preparing, packing and shrink-wrapping orders
Working towards dispatch deadlines
Ensuring the correct documentation accompanies each order
Keeping the warehouse tidy and clean
You'll also need to demonstrate:
Forklift Licence an advantage
A Full Drivers licence
A reliable work ethic
A good level of physical fitness (capable of lifting up to 25kg)
High standards of personal presentation
The willingness to assist in all facets of the business
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
Attention to detail

This is a full time position with a guaranteed 40 hours per week working Monday to Friday.
Remuneration will be negotiated with the successful candidate, and will be aligned with the skills and experience they bring to the role.
