Silverdale Medical strives every day to provide excellent primary care to an enrolled population of 20000 patients and to serve as the Urgent Care Centre of choice on the Hibiscus Coast in North Auckland. Open 365 days a year with a commitment to quality care. We work together collaboratively as a team; respectful of the value of diversity of skills and perspectives. The practice grows at about 2000 patients a year - driving demand in all services. We have a loyal and committed core set of providers with a strong 'Team work' orientation.

We offer clinicians a vibrant practice environment with the opportunity to deliver a wide set of services and develop their practice interests (General Practice, GP Specialist Clinics, Skin Surgery, and Urgent Care). We offer career pathways from student all the way to senior partner. We strongly support doctors pursuing their fellowship. We have clinicians who specialize the care they deliver, and clinicians who love having a very wide practice.

All qualified applicants must be eligible for registration with the NZ Medical Council (doctors) or NZ Nursing Council (NP). We will consider international applicants with professional registration in Australia, UK, Canada and the US - but they must be granted their registration in NZ before their employment commences. We will support relocation and residency application needs.

Pediatric NPs (Children's Clinic)
General Practice NPs (General Practice)

Skin Surgery:

Fellow of NZ Institute of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery (1-2 sessions/week)
Member of NZSCO
Doctors with recognised surgery qualifications - pursuing NZSCO membership

Urgent Care (Accredited, with ACC Contract):

Fellows of RNZCUC
Candidate for fellowship of RNZCUC

All workers of Silverdale Medical must be fully up to date with all Covid 19 vaccination and boosters in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines. All workers must be police vetted. All workers must maintain their registration in good standing, and maintain valid CPR. All workers must be committed to evidence-based practice condoned by their college.
