Opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer

Upright Access Systems is a NZ owned company providing Access and Scaffolding Services in the greater Auckland area.
An opportunity has become available for a driven individual to join our team in an Accounts Receivable role.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing all monthly invoicing and subcontract claims, maintaining subcontract files, as well as learning payroll and creditors to provide support.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Maintaining subcontract job files
Accurately and efficiently creating and processing all monthly subcontract claims;
Distributing claim and invoices to the correct Quantity Surveyor;
Following up of any outstanding monies owed by debtors;
Processing and creating monthly invoices on all jobs;
Sending out monthly statements;
Processing New Client credit application forms for debtors to ensure legal compliance and company policies/procedures are adhered to;
Assisting with general duties to support the Office Administrator;
Learning how to process the weekly payroll to support the Office Administrator;
Assisting in preparation of Financial Year End accounts
Actively contributing to hazard identification and risk management
Attending and completing all training courses as assigned
All other duties as assigned
We are looking for a self-starter with previous experience in an accounts receivable role, who has a "no job too small" attitude and a positive demeanour.
Other essential skills and attributes include:
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
A minimum of a New Zealand National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Level 3
Ability to complete ant tasks that need to be done
A sense or urgency and excellent time management skills to meet set targets
Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to multitask various projects at once
Resilience and the ability to adapt well to a high pressured changeable environment
Confident technology and software skills
The ability to work within a team environment
The ability to complete and pass a mandatory police check and drug testing
